Having grown up here on the Northern Beaches, Daniel completed his medical degree at The University of Newcastle and spent his first postgraduate years working both on the Central Coast and at St. George Hospital in South Eastern Sydney.
With an interest in Critical Care medicine prior to General Practice he has completed a Masters of Medicine in Critical Care whilst undertaking roles in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care and Anesthetics. Following on from this he has undertaken various roles in General Medicine, Geriatrics and Infectious Disease medicine at various hospitals throughout NSW and Victoria.
During his GP training Daniel found a flair for regional and remote medicine and has just finished working two years in rural and remote Australia in both General Practice and Urgent Care before returning to Sydney.
Daniel practices medicine with a friendly, collaborative approach and brings a fresh and cheerful style to the many challenges that arise in General Practice. He endeavors to make patients feel relaxed and comfortable whilst providing high quality, comprehensive healthcare.
His special interests include:
Sexual Health including S100 HIV prescribing and PrEP
Contraception including Implanon removal and insertion and medical termination of unplanned pregnancy (MS2Step)
LGBTQIA inclusive health care
Adolescent health particularly with respect to mental health and sexual health.
Travel Medicine and
Minor surgical procedures including skin excisions
Outside of work Daniel has an eclectic range of interests and hobbies. He speaks German, French and Norwegian and his hobbies include travelling, swimming , alpine skiing, cooking and reading. If not at work you will find him spending as much of his free time as possible with his Italian Greyhound Leo.
